In the 1970s, with the encouragement of members of his family who are lifelong ranchers and cattleman, Watt started photographing cattle, cowboys and ranch scenes. These photographs are being used in magazines, brochures, advertisements, web sites and in several books about the ranching and cattle industry in the United States and Mexico.
